What to do in Radstadt?

Radtstadt is an ideal destination to take a break from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the peace and quiet. This peaceful town is located south of Salzburg. In the surrounding area, you can enjoy nature in various ways, including cycling, hiking, mountain biking, golfing, rafting, paragliding, swimming, horseback riding and canyoning.  So you see, there is plenty to do in this area!

Radtstadt is a centre for golf, with a challenging 18-hole course and a somewhat more compact 9-hole course. The Poolincluded Radtstadt apartment complex is located nearby! On one side of the golf course you have the Radstadt Tauern with rugged cliffs and on the other side you can see the snow-capped peaks of Dachtstein. This gives you a wonderful view, which you can enjoy even if you are not a golf enthusiast!

After doing all the different activities in Radtstadt, a little relaxation is in order. For this, we can definitely recommend the Therme Amadé! This is a large spa with several pools where young and old can enjoy themselves. There are several slides including one that even goes over the head! But you can also go for a lovely massage and relax. There is also an outdoor pool where you can relax during the summer months.

In Radstadt, there is a continental climate, which means that it can be very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. In the summer months, it can get up to 35 degrees!
