The town of Makarska is located on the Adriatic Sea and is about 60 kilometres south of Split. Makarska itself is situated in a beautiful bay at the bottom of Biokovo mountain range and together with Baška Voda, Brela and Tučepi, Makarska forms the Makarska Riviera.
