What to do in Biograd na Moru?

Biograd na Moru was the capital of the medieval kingdom of Croatia. But today it is a well-known seaside resort with a long promenade, a harbour, nice bars and restaurants. Besides, Biograd has a wide beach and a public swimming pool by the sea. While walking along the boulevards you can see the church of St. Anastasia, built in the 18th century.

Did you know that the name Biograd Na Moru literally translated is “White city of the sea”? This name is appropriate for the city because all buildings are built in a traditional way. White walls and an orange roof are found throughout the town and create a beautiful picture. The town really lives up to its name.
