What to do in Trogir?

About 25 kilometres from Split is the Dalmatian pearl of Trogir. Trogir is a popular holiday destination, and this is for several reasons. It is a city with a rich history, a beautiful centre and romantic streets. Partly due to its rich history, the city has also been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Trogir has two attractive beaches: Pantan and Medena and together with the beautiful bays that can be found on the Ciovo peninsula, it offers a lot of beauty for water lovers. Around Trogir, there are plenty of places for snorkelling, as well as jet skiing and water skiing.

In the evening, you can enjoy the many restaurants and taverns, where you can taste many traditional Mediterranean dishes and delicious wines. After a nice dinner, you can dive into the nightlife, everything is possible for a pleasant evening! From mid-June to mid-August, there is also a summer music festival where all kinds of concerts are held, from pop to folk. Going out on the peninsula Ciovo is also an option!

The old town of Trogir is also called museum island and offers plenty of historical and cultural sights. Experience it yourself and dive into the rich history of this beautiful city! Via the drawbridge you can also reach Okrug Gornji, enough to do in this beautiful Croatian region.

The weather in Trogir

The Dalmatian coast has a Mediterranean climate. There is not much rain in this region, November is the wettest month. The summer is great in Dalmatia-Split, it is nice and warm, and the evenings are balmy. Winter in this region is harsher than in the rest of Croatia.
