Plitvice Lakes National Park

The park, which has been on UNESCO’s World Heritage List since 1979, is located in the interior of Croatia and covers an area of 296 km². The national park has a magnificent nature: 16 beautiful lakes and up to 90 waterfalls are located in the breathtaking nature with numerous hiking possibilities. The highest waterfall is 78 metres high and is a popular wedding location. The upper and lower lakes of Plitvice are connected by the Travertine Falls. Apart from water, the park consists for a large part of high forests. You will find here firs of more than 50 metres high and with a diameter of almost 1.5 metres.

Krka National Park

Krka National Park is one of the modst beautiful national parks of croatia!  It covers an area of 111 km² and is open all year round and worth a visit in all seasons. Risnjak National Park

Risnjak was declared a national park in 1953. It consists of several mountain peaks, of which Veliki Risnjak is the highest with a summit height of 1528 m above sea level. The surface area of the park is 63.5 km² and includes the largest and most interesting part of the Risnjak massif. The park is known for its diverse climate influences, the cold alpine, the mild influence of the Adriatic, continental and the cold from the Dinara Mountains. This makes the natural park very unique, so it is definitely worth a visit!

Kornati National Park

Kornati National Park is an archipelago that consists of 89 uninhabited islands and reefs. The park covers an area of 320 km² and is best known for its high cliffs and beautiful scenery! The park is open all year round so you can enjoy the peace, fresh air and enchanting scenery whenever you like. The park is the ideal environment for sailing, water sports and for people who love the peace of an uninhabited area. Every first Sunday of July is the Catholic holiday of the Madonna of Tarca. National park Brijuni

The National Park Brijuni, better known as the Brijuni Islands, is a group of 14 islands of which the largest one called Veliki Brijun can be visited. The Brijuni National Park covers an area of 33.9 km² and is located off the coast of Istria near Pula and Rovinj. It is an exceptionally beautiful island, covered with beautiful pine and olive trees, surrounded by a blue sea. Brijuni National Park can only be reached by organised boat crossings, but whether you want to follow a day trip programme on the island or go your own way is entirely up to you!
